MORE THAN HYPE

More Than Hype celebrates hip hop history - in particular Baltimore Club music - and the vibrant scene that was birthed in Charm City by the extraordinary musical artists highlighted in this doc. Director and Bmore creative entrepreneur Larry "Whaddup" Caudle interviews the movers and shakers behind the Baltimore hip hop scene from past to present. From Scottie B to Kevin Lyles’s, K Swift to Rod Lee, he weaves together a personal version of this important part of our city's history that is often overlooked or forgotten, while finding a way to bridge the gap in a city with a solid but struggling music industry.
