Volunteer

We still have a few volunteer shifts available throughout the festival, but we especially need help in the evening on Saturday, May 6th and during the day on Sunday, May 7th!  In exchange for your time volunteering for the MdFF 2017 we will offer some of our amazing perks! You will receive a limited edition t-shirt and, for each four (4) hour shift worked, earn one voucher that can be used toward a regular priced screening, $5 towards festival merchandise.  Check out this year’s programming schedule here!

As a bonus, volunteers are invited to a free “volunteers only” film screening, held shortly after the festival, of one of the most popular films of MDFF 2017.

Volunteers under the age of 18 can apply to help out at the festival, but may be excluded from certain positions. They must submit a permission form signed by a parent or guardian before volunteering. Volunteers under the age of 18 who wish to apply must also be at least 16 years old to participate.

We would love to have students of all majors, who are interested in film, involved with this years excellent team! Please pass this on to all who may be interested.

This year’s festival will take place this week, May 3-7th for the FIRST TIME in the Parkway, along with MICA campus venues, and we need more volunteers than ever!
