MdFF – Maryland Film Festival 2017 Preliminary How-To-Festival Information


The 19th Annual Maryland Film Festival will take place May 3rd-7th 2017 and will coincide with the Grand Opening of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Parkway, the new permanent home of MdFF!

Programming announcements will begin in early April!

CAMPUS:
This year, Maryland Film Festival will take place on a walkable, 6-screen campus in the Station North Arts & Entertainment District.

Programming venues will be hosted on the three screens within the Parkway, located at 5 W. North Avenue. Other venues are MICA’s Brown Center, Gateway Building, and Lazarus Center.

We will also be hosting auxiliary events in our pop-up venue, the Tent Village in the Ynot Lot (directly across from the Parkway at 4 West North Avenue), along with panel discussions in Red Emma’s!

The Filmmaker/VIP Lounge will be housed in the Windup Space (12 W North Avenue).

TICKETS:
Tickets to regular screenings will be $12 and will be available to purchase online in mid-April, as well as onsite at any of our screening venues.

Tickets for students will be $10 purchased on-site only.

The location of the Main Box Office will be located in the Tent Village at the Ynot Lot.

Ticket prices for Special Events, such as the Opening Night Shorts Program, Closing Night Film and Party, the John Waters’ Pick, and Alloy Orchestra Screening will be announced in early April.

VOLUNTEERS:
The Call for Volunteers is live and the application process will be ongoing through March 31st. Please visit our volunteer page for more information!

PARKING:
Check back in early April for a comprehensive Festival parking guide.

Parkway and Lazarus Center parking will be available at public lots located along North Avenue and 20th Street.

Parking for MICA Brown and Gateway will be available on the street, along with a public lot located beneath I-83 off Malster Avenue.
